How I developed and grew my tech skills amidst the rigors of pharmacy school
Balancing pharmacology lectures with Figma files taught me more about discipline than any productivity book ever could. This is the story of both careers, and why I kept both.
The beginning of my journey
It started in 2017 with freelance digital marketing, learning how businesses actually win attention online. By 2018 I was deep into email marketing and Shopify store designs while carrying a full pharmacy course load at Obafemi Awolowo University.
Transitioning to UI/UX design
In 2021 I found the discipline that fused everything: UI/UX design. My clinical background wasn't a detour. It became my edge. Pharmacists are trained to think about safety, clarity and the person at the end of every decision. That's just good UX with a license.
Embracing development
2022 added WordPress development, then Webflow, Framer and beyond. Designs that ship beat designs that sit in Figma. Today that stack extends into AI workflow automation for businesses.
Grit, intensity, mental vibrance
Those three words carried me through hospital rotations by day and client deadlines by night. They're still the standard for every project that crosses my desk.
